Health Safety and Environment Policy

Construction Kaiser Limited recognizes that Health, Safety and Environmental issues relevant to her operations are a fundamental part of her business. Our objective is to meet and where possible, exceed the  requirements of all applicable legislations and laws. This will be achieved whilst addressing the needs of the  business and maintaining our HSE management system. In Construction Kaiser Limited “Safety is not  negotiable; accidents and injuries are not acceptable”. 

To this end Construction Kaiser Limited shall: 

  • Integrate safety, health and environment protection into every business consideration and provide  adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities. 
  • Consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety and continue to develop a  positive Health, Safety and Environmental culture across the organisation involving employees in the  development and implementation process. 
  • Ensure all employees, vendors and sub-contractors take responsibility for working in a manner that  promotes quality, minimises the risk of harm to the environment and promotes the Health & Safety  of employees, clients, sub- contractors, visitors and members of the public. 
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements to our Health, Safety  and Environmental processes and corporate business strategies: these will be regarded as minimum  standards of achievement. 
  • Not embark on any work deemed unsafe by the company, its employees or sub-contractors. If a work cannot be done safely; it shall not be done at all, therefore STOP WORK Policy shall apply. Provide appropriate PPE, information, systems of communication, instruction, training, re-training  and supervision in health and safety in order to maintain a continuous growth in the competence  levels of all employees. 
  • Engage qualified sub-contractors or vendors who have demonstrated, through their past  performance, the ability to perform their activities in a safe and environmentally conscious manner. Conserve company resources by carefully managing discharges and by eliminating unnecessary  waste generation. 

It is the responsibility of every employee to comply with the intents of this policy, company standards and  procedures and every company laws applicable to their assigned duties and responsibilities.  

This policy shall be available as documented information, communicated to all interested parties and  consistently applied within the organization.
